Testing Vehicles up to SAE Level 5 on the Proving Ground
iMAR Navigation GmbH (St. Ingbert) and STÄHLE GmbH (Wimsheim), demonstrating their compatibility between high precision INS/GNSS navigation systems and advanced driving robot systems to pave the way of highly au-tomated scenario-based Testing.
iMAR Navigation GmbH, a global leader of INS/GNSS navigation and control sys-tems with more than 25 years deep experience in inertial navigation and control tech-nology, and STÄHLE GmbH, one of the main suppliers of high-precision robotic sys-tems for ADAS testing appli-cations, have recently demon-strated their unrestricted compatibility and outstanding accurracy of their technolo-gies, combining an iTraceRT-MVT-200 INS/GNSS system with a STÄHLE SfpHybrid robotic system.
iMAR is using its iTRACO-ISO22133 communication protocol which allows a smooth and powerful communication between iMAR’s iVCTROL hardware (vehicle controller for all kind of moving objects) and the automated driven vehicle (the "moving object"). Such vehicle can be an iMAR specific vehicle (e.g. iTSV-KIA), an arbitrary other traffic simulation vehicle (TSV) or a soft crash target (SCT) of a third party manufacturer or any other controlled vehicle. The interface definition is iMAR proprietary and uses the ISO22133 communication protocol as base carrier.
Implementation information will be provided to moving object integrators under NDA on request. Please contact iMAR sales or support team.
