German Navy purchases customized gyro stabilized multi sensor platform

The  German Navy's Technical Center for Ships and Naval Weapons, Maritime Technology and Research (Wehrtechnische Dienststelle 71) has contracted IMAR to deliver a gyro stabilized multi sensor platform for both standard and special applications. It can carry several sophisticated optical and other sensors, also delivered by iMAR. High accuracy, reliability and availability of the platform are some of many other features - details are covered by non-disclosure agreement.

Beside of such customized gyro stabilized platforms, derived from iMAR's advanced architecture of stabilized platforms and manufactured by iMAR in St. Ingbert / Germany, iMAR deliveres for more than 20 years naval weapon components, e.g. by far more than 1'000 attitude heading reference systems for German, European and other advanced heavy weight torpedoes, deep sea magnetometers with integrated Inertial sensors, gyro stabilized platforms for all kind of payloads (EO/IR, antennas, lasers etc.) and many more.
