Localization systems for further 90 vehicles of BBK
Since 2018 iMAR is contracted by the German Federal Office of Civil Protection to equip several hundret CBRN vehicles of the "Bundesamt für Bevölkerungsschutz und Katasprophenhilfe" (BBK) with the well-known navigation and localization system iNAT-Mxx. CBRN stands for the detection and documentation of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear contamination.
The selection of the iNAT-M200 in 2018 had been done within a worldwide competition, considering cost, performance, hardware and signal processing reliability with trustable deterministic results (e.g. no AI based processing) under difficult environment.
Another about 100 systems have just been contracted by BBK in July 2024, based on the high satisfaction of the customer with iMAR's products in the real world's application and iMAR's comprehensive integration support.
From the history: When iMAR had been asked to entered the project in 2018, the customer had already made difficult experience with another manufacturer, who promised a lot but failed with missing performance in the real world. In many projects we observe, that users make such bad experiences in the market - what matters most is the experience of the iMAR staff gained over more than 30 years in a vast number of applications with inertial solutions in the field - worldwide.
