TRACE: Enabling Consumer Electronics for Automotive Aplications
11 April 2016
iMAR is Member of the TRACE Research Project: Methodology Process to use CE in AE
in 2015 iMAR had been invited by leading European car manufacturers as well as TIER1 / TIER2 suppliers to provide its deep knowledge about using industrial as well as military and commercial inertial sensor technologies in all areas of applications, to assist the European TRACE consortium developing a methodology to use CE (Commercial electronics) in AE (automotive electronics) Environment, and here specifically the inertial and GNSS related components being required for the highly automated driving.
The TRACE Project is guided by Robert Bosch GmbH, Germany. 15 German companies and Research organizations are part of TRACE as well as 24 foreign European Partners.
The Project has started at 2016 April 11.
iMAR provides contributions in device specification, testing, demonstrator design and verification to show the validity of the design methodology, which will be developed during the project by the consortium.
The Project is funded by the German Government "Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, Deutschland" and the CATRENE (Cluster for Application and Technology Research in Europe on NanoElectronics).
